Relationships First

Colossians 3:12-15

 

Drift– a gradual shift in position; an aimless course; to become carried along subject to no guidance or control.

 

“They are filled with all unrighteousness, evil, greed and wickedness. They are full of envy, murder, quarrels, deceit and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, arrogant, proud, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, senseless, unloving, and unmerciful.” Rom. 1:29-31 CSB.

 

What does it take to be intentional?

1. Begin at the end. Identify what matters most. (Phil. 4:9; Prov. 13:22; Deut. 6:5-7)
2. Take up the challenge. (Col. 3:12-15; Prov. 20:7, 3 John 1:4; Matt. 28:19-20, James 4:17)
3. Practice gratitude. (Psalm 9:1; Phil. 4:6-7)

 

Three big questions:

1. What do you want?
2. Where are you?
3. Are you ready to make a move?

 

Final Thought: Ask God: who has He called you to impact? How intentional have you been? Are you ready to live like it’s the end?
