John 20:22

 

You can receive life in the Spirit. (John 20:19-22)

• Do you know what sin is? (1 John 3:4)

• Have you sinned? (Romans 3:23)

• Have you confessed your sin and followed Christ? (Romans 10:9)

• Have you been baptized? (Acts 22:16)

 

You can live life in the Spirit. (John 20:21)

•  Live in your giftedness (1 Corinthians 12:4-7)

• Grow in the Spirit. (Romans 12:1-2)

1. Love for Christ grows.

2. Conviction of sin and repentance continues.

3. Hunger for scripture.

4. Truths of scripture illuminated.

5. Genuine love for God and others grows.

    

You can be assured of life in the Spirit. (John 14:16-17a)

1. “How do I know?”

2. You are known by your fruit. (Galatians 5:22-25)

But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty.  For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,  heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good,  treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.
