Then Came the Morning...

Matthew 28:1

Resurrection begins with the Cross.

Mark 15:37, “Then Jesus uttered another loud cry and breathed his last.”

Matthew 27:50, “Then Jesus shouted out again, and he released his spirit.” Luke 23:44-46, “By this time it was about noon, and darkness fell across the whole land … Then Jesus shouted, “Father, I entrust my spirit into your hands!” And … he breathed his last.” John 19:30, [Jesus] …said, “It is finished!” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.”

Resurrection Truths:

 (#1) Death is REAL

Psalm 144:4, “Man is like the breath; His days are like a passing shadow.”

Ecclesiastes 3:20, “All are from the dust, and to dust all return”.

Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death…”

 (#2) Death is not THE END

John 10:18, “No one can take my life from me. I sacrifice it voluntarily. For I have the authority to lay it down when I want to and also to take it up again. For this is what my Father has commanded.”

(#3) Death is at ITS END

1 Corinthians 15:20, “Christ has been raised from the dead. He is the first of a great harvest of all who have died.”

Romans 10:14, “But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them?”

Three Questions:
Who told you about Jesus?
What do you believe about Jesus?
Will you confess Jesus as Lord?

Simple Faith Confession:
Today, I confess, Jesus as my Lord.
I trust him to take away my sin and death.
Beginning today, I live for him.
I’m coming out of the grave.
I will rise up!

Take a deep breath. Be bold. Rise up and confess Jesus!
